My next novel explores what happens when two broken lives collide under the worst possible circumstances.

After years trapped in an abusive marriage, one woman reaches the point where staying feels more dangerous than leaving. At the same time, a man’s world is shattered when his wife is killed in a devastating head-on crash — a moment that leaves him consumed by grief, guilt, and unanswered questions.

Neither of them is looking for a second chance.

But sometimes life has other plans.

This new story is not just about tragedy. It’s about survival, resilience, and the complicated ways people find hope again when everything they once believed in has fallen apart.

It is still early in the writing process, but this is already one of the most emotional and personal stories I have worked on — darker in places, more reflective in others, but ultimately rooted in the belief that even after unimaginable loss, healing is possible.
